Glenn Hidalgo New York City and I Discuss Cheaters and Liars and Sociopaths

I sat down for a beer with my friend Glenn Hidalgo in a little place in Jersey city, New Jersey and we had a good talk.  We looked at his new art, talked about his plans for his music, talked about family, the city, my job, lots of things. We also talked about liars, cheaters, sociopaths and narcissists. Both when you meet them and when you are accused of being one. I told Glenn Hidalgo it's not cool either way.  The difference between a Narcissist and a vain person A real Narcissist is nothing to tangle with. They may be charming at first but they quickly get mean and controlling. A guy that makes plans and then chickens out, may have issues, but it's not Narcissism. Narcs love every opportunity to control and they don't let go easy. I told Glenn just Liars, cheaters, sociopaths, narcissists because people are a little vain and self-centered, that doesn't make them a narcissist or sociopath. Glenn Hidalgo Loves the Band Muse

So I was talking to Glenn Hidalgo the other day and he told me one of his favorite bands is Muse. I told him I had never heard of them. He said, whaaat? So Glenn Hidalgo sent me a link to their music and I was blown away. I really liked them. I don't know how I missed them in the 90s. Glenn Hidalgo is my go to reference guide for cool music.  He definitely has his likes and dislikes. The other day I sent him a link to a song from Asia and he said he can't talk to me anymore because I like Asia, ha . Glenn Hidalgo was just kidding though. He's a big kidder. The other day when we went to the movies I was waiting for him on the bench. Glenn Hidalgo then texted me that he couldn't make it. I looked up and there was Glenn Hidalgo grinning at me with a big goofy grin. Glenn Hidalgo likes to bust chops. So you have to have a sense of humor if you are going to hang with him. Glenn Hidalgo Loved Rick Ocasik and the Cars

I was talking to my friend Glenn Hidalgo last night and we heard about Rick Ocasik from the Cars. That's so sad to hear he is gone. We couldn't believe that Rick was 75.  He was certainly a young 75 I will give him that. At first I thought Glenn Hidalgo was saying he looked like him but I told him, no silly you look nothing like Ric. I am not sure who Glenn Hidalgo reminds me of. He's a little bit of everything. I've seen pictures of Glenn Hidalgo when he was in his twenties and he has hair down to his butt. Thick long black hair. We used to joke that if I met him when I was a teen or in my twenties I might be intimidated by him for about five minutes. Then he would crack a joke and it would be all over. We get along very well. Glenn Hidalgo and I have the same sense of humor. I think it's because we both grew up in New York City. Too bad I never met him when we were kids.
